Do you dream of wowing your family and friends with impossible feats of illusion? Do you like blowing people’s minds with your mad crazy magic stills? Have you wondered how magic feats are performed? Then “Magic for Kids!” is for you!

The Aldo Leopold Chair is a simple and sturdy design which he intended for outdoor use. These chairs have become quite famous and are used through out the US both inside and out. Our chairs will be made from Alaska spruce and a small hand full of screws and bolts. We will be using saws, planes, drills, sloyd knives, files, rasps and sandpaper. We will be learning sawing to a line, truing up saw cuts with a block plane, chamforing and assembly.

In this electrical workshop will be wiring D.C. circuits with switches, lights, buzzers, and bells. We will also draw wiring diagrams and solder alligator clips to test wire and make our own jumper wires. We will be wiring some automotive circuits and even some house circuits.

A bow saw is a must have tool for almost everyone especially if you enjoy camping or harvesting wood for other projects. The saw we will be making breaks down into a small bundle that easily fits in a back pack. The frame will be made out of Alaska birch. We will finish our saws with a mixture of birch tar and linseed oil.
