Spend a weekend making woodblock prints! We will work with quality tools and materials to bring your images to life in black and white.
This class includes a weekend session as well as a “pass” to one of our print nights in the studio in case you need more time to work or print.
We will talk about paper, wood, ink, tools, and all students will have the opportunity to explore printing by hand and working on the press. You will leave the class with several images, plenty of information, and two quality chisels (if you choose this option at checkout) that will serve as the foundation of your relief printmaking toolkit.
This class will take place both upstairs in the cabin and downstairs in the printmaking studio. If navigating stairs is a limitation for you, please contact Kerri Hamos, Program Director at kerri@folk.school prior to registering for the class.
