Join us for a free demonstration while we harvest the bark from our OneTree birch. We get frequent questions about collecting birch bark, such as:
- How do you get bark off a birch tree?
- When is the best time to do it?
- How do you properly handle and store bark?
- Does removing the bark kill the tree?
We will discuss all these questions and more, giving folks a chance to both see and participate in removing bark. This will be an informative evening for everyone; even if you never anticipate harvesting bark, it will make you just a little less annoyed when you see those unsightly black bands around beautiful birch trees.
**For those who are participating in the OneTree project, and want bark, please join us, and take your piece of the OneTree home with you!**
Date of event: Monday, June 19, 2023
Time of the event: 6:00 pm
