Printmakers –
We are showcasing the printmakers of Fairbanks with a print sale at The Folk School Saturday, November 29 from 10am to 3 pm. This coincides with the Handmade Holiday market at the Centennial Center, so there will be a large and enthusiastic audience in the park!
We invite you to be a part of the third year of our print sale! You DO NOT need to have taken a class or been involved with the Folk School to participate. (But you might want to take the opportunity to check out our print shop/class offerings!)
Artists who submit prints for the sale will receive 60% of the sale price, the other 40% will go to The Folk School to support the Community Print Shop.
Things to consider:
- We welcome up to 30 prints per artist, handmade prints only, no reproductions. We would love your handprinted cards and clothing, as well as cyanotypes!
- We suggest that all work on paper be packaged in clear plastic sleeves to avoid damage.
- Artists do not need to be present the day of the sale.
- Please submit prints by November 25.
Unsold prints can be picked up the day of the sale or the following week.

Print dropoffs:
- At Print Shop Open Studio on November 13 and 20 (Thursdays, 5-9 pm,)
- Monday November 24 4-7
- Tuesday November 25 4-7 pm
