Planned Giving
Planned Giving, of any amount, is a simple and easy way to help The Folk School thrive for generations to come. Your gifts allow us to support our programming in the present and plan for our growth in the future.
Sustaining Donor
One of the deepest and long-lasting ways that you can support The Folk School is to become a sustaining donor by giving monthly. It is an immense help to have a reliable, steady stream of income to support our community of hands-on learning.

Make a Donation to our Fund at The Alaska Community Foundation
This is a general fund for the purpose of supporting the mission of The Folk School, which is to perpetuate the joy of hands-on learning.

Tax-Free Minimum IRA Distributions
The Folk School is qualified to accept donations from IRA required annual minimum distributions. Please have the funds transferred directly from your financial institution or trustee in order to qualify for a tax break (our EIN is 45-2974643). We will provide you with a donation receipt for your tax records. If you have any questions about coordinating an IRA distribution, please email our Operations Director at operations@folk.school.
