Event Venue: Pioneer Park - Cabin 66 - The Folk School Print Shop
2300 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK, 99701, United States
The Folk School Print Shop is in the basement of our cabin at Pioneer Park. Access to the basement is down a set of stairs. The space can also be accessed by a back door, which involves a somewhat steep ramp, but no stairs. Winter access to the back door might be difficult depending on snow conditions. If you need to access the basement via the back door, please let us know ahead of time so we can shovel snow.
There is no restroom on the basement level of the cabin. The restroom in the cabin is up a flight of stairs. The nearest accessible restroom is in Centennial Hall (which is not always open during our classes and events), or the portable restroom outside the workshop (which is also accessible).
There are some accessibility issues getting into and around the cabin, particularly if the class is in the printmaking studio, which is downstairs. Visit our Folk School Print Shop Accessibility page to view photos of the studio’s stairs and entrances.
We’ll do what we can to enable you to take any class you’re interested in, so please contact us if you have concerns!
